Vendo 511 not delivering properly

When coins are inserted and correct price is reached our Vendo will not deliver a can of pop but it will take the change as if it did. Then when you put the correct change in the machine and try the same selection again it gives two cans of pop. It works fine on all the other selections. It is just one that is causing problems. Not sure where to start to fix this problem. It is a Model 511PCD00184 and Serial # 763862 I am also looking for the correct service manual to download for machine as well. Thanks

It sounds like you got a cam or a gage bar set wrong on that selection. This happens after a switch out of one type of product for another and forget to reset the cam/gage bar. On a Vendo 511 it vends cans 3 deep and should be set with 3 notches visible on the cam. In the pic below the cam is the round black disc (yours will probably be a different color) and you need to set it to 3 notches open (the pic has only 2 open). Changing the setting is easy, there is a selector on front of the cam you adjust with your fingers. The gage bar settings are better explained in the manual with pictures.
