You have one of four possible issues here.....

1. Your refrigeration relay is bad.
2. Your cut out temperature setting is wrong.
3. Your temperature sensor is bad.
4. There is a damaged wire from the board to the relay or in the sensor harness.

The first thing to check is the relay. Go to the logic board and find the two wires that send the signal to the refrigeration relay. They both have pink connectors plugged into the board. Pull one off the board and see if the compressor turns off. If it does then the relay is okay, but you have a shorted wire to the relay. In this case you must trace both pink-connector wires from the logic board to the relay to find the damaged wire.

Go into your FRiG programming and check that the cut out temp setting is no lower than 35 degrees.

Set your machine to display the temperature on the front of the door and put a thermometer in the cabinet. Close the door and let it run for a few minutes. Now compare the temperature on the display to the thermometer temperature. If the display is much higher than the thermometer then your sensor is bad. You also need to check that the sensor harness, a grey cable not to be confused with the vend sensor cable that's also grey, is not damaged anywhere along it's length. If the grey sheath is broken it can ground out and give erroneous readings.

If you're not sure of any of this terminology or of the programming then go to the Royal Vendors website and download the Merlin IV manual.
