Transformer for Manea Vending Machine

Mikey Mike,
Was this machine made for Europe or for export to US? The reason I ask is the transformer in your picture has 230V primary, 220-230V is standard in the EU but not here in the US, we use 110-120V.

Mikey Mike,

Mikey Mike,
if this a 110-120v US machine any old National or AP snack machine would have a transformer to step 120v down to 24v. A 1/4 ohm (160 watt rated) resister would drop that 24v down to 22v. But that is jerry-rig engineering and I don't know how much this machine is worth to you. There are companies that will make custom transformers but they are pricey and I have no idea where to buy Manea parts if the factory won't help.
