Motor turning backwards

When I went to fill one of my GPL159s selection F0 had 3 empty slots infront of the product, I tested and the spirals are turning backwards on that one selection. This has happened once before in this machine and I took the motor out and switched it with another one int he machine and both worked properly that didn't fix it this time. What could it be? I have asked 3 different repair guys I know and all say in their 20-30 years experience they have never seen a motor turn backwards like this.
