Buttons Sticking on a Dixie-Marco 501e

Floatland,
First I would check for sticky soda spilled on them. Also dirt/debris.
Next on a Dixie-Narco the exterior buttons are little plastic boxes that when pushed in press against the actual electric button. Those little plastic boxes are set in a cut-out and held there with a metal flange that sometimes gets bent/distorted/damaged. You might look at the inside how well they align with the cut outs and adjust the metal accordingly.
Also the little plastic boxes sometimes get broke on the back side and then they won't work right.
And, the electric button has a spring that pushes the buttons back out, if it is broke they won't work right.
Short amswer: Open the door & push the buttons & see if you can make them stick. Then adjust what's wrong.

Hey there! Thanks for tips

Hey there! Thanks for tips theRS, this is what i ended up doing.

For plastic against metal ptfe lubrication is recomended (source: google metal plastic lubrication) so i got a bottle of that. I then took of the backplate, under there i found the flat strip with the electrical connections, all fine, and a membrane in rubber. i did the stupid thing of cleaning off some black stuff on it not relizing it was the lubrication. and more buttons started to stick. That was the eurica moment i relized that.- So then i just sprayed lots of the lubrication on there and around the button in the cracks and the hinge part. Now all the buttons are smooth and works well! :)
