Maka Validator not accepting bills

I just recently bought a bowling alley that had been sitting for 13years...I finally got into the vending machines (only snacks), I have figured out how to program the machines prices and all of the spots dispense for the proper amount of money...the issue I am on right now is the bill acceptor... it only starts to suck the bill in (about 1/4 inch) then forces it out...but only when I turn the machine on...then it doesn't recognize the bill is being pushed in...and I have more then enough change in the change acceptor....the info I can get off the bill acceptor is (maka corporation, model nb-11b-400) if anyone could help that would be awesome!

Maka validator problem

kick88,
the front sensors might just be dirty, try cleaning them. If that doesn't work I would take it into a validator repair shop and have it 'benched' they can tell you exactly what is wrong and give you a repair price. However a used Maka validator is pretty cheap ($50 ebay) you might just want to buy a another one.
