Display says sold out when can slot is actually full

I have an office deli machine and even though the can soda slot is full, the display reads sold out. Does anyone have an idea of what's going on?

Antares (Seaga) Office Deli Vending Machine sold out light.

I have never worked on a Antares vending machine, but in the manual on page 27 it list 7 possible problems associated with the sold out lights.
