changing price on dn276e

hi, trying to change the price on some selections but it doesn't give me the prompt to do so. It is currently set with different prices.
I press the 4th button as the instructions state but it doesn't give me the PRIC prompt. tried entering the default password and it doesn't give me the PASS prompt either. help!!!
I pressed the blue button also but it doesn't give any error messages.

Setting on Dixie-Narco 276E

jicsboss,
Is your machine a Coke branded machine? The reason I ask is that the use of 4 button directions to program the machine will only work if the machine was originally manufactured for Coca-Cola. All others use 2 button programming. Get back to me and I can help you.

Hi, yes it is a coca cola machine. I tried the other set up too but it doesnt work (pressing the button only until the price changes)

Sometimes the "pass" prompt doesn't show up.....

Sometimes the "pass" prompt doesn't show up for me, It doesn't give me the "pass" prompt on some machines, I do not know why. I just get to the spot where it should be and then do like the book says: "To enter password, press select button 4 until the display goes blank. Then press select button 2, then 3, then 1, and then 4, and "CASH" should appear on the display....."
If that doesn't work for you then the only thing I can think of is some IDIOT programmed in a special password, in which case you will need to call Dixie-Narco's 800 number (and wait an hour or so on hold) and ask them how to reset the memory on the board. Maybe somebody reading this can tell us how to do that.
