Adding a bill acceptor

Hello everyone, I am Christopher Godwin and I just purchased a DN 168/99-5 five option Coca-Cola vending machine. It currently only has a coin acceptor and since I am brand new to the vending machine world is it possible to add a bill acceptor to this machine? I have currently downloaded the manual and will be reading it over the next couple of days and I can not wait to see what vending has in-store for me.

How to add bill acceptor validator

Hello Chris,
#1 UPLUG MACHINE before working on it!
If your machine does not have an electronic coin mech you will need to buy one (like the 3341s picture below) and replace it.
Next you will need a validator & wiring harness, (BA30 vali & wire harness pictured below).
Then you will need a validator mounting bracket, you cut the hole for the vali using a template that comes with bracket. Then bolt the vali in, connect it to your coin mech with wire harness & your done!
