1984 DNCB 240/138-6 Pepsi Machine HELP!

Hello,

Thanks for your time. I have a 1984 DNCB 240/138-6 Pepsi machine. When I insert 50 cent into the machine the coin mechanism accepts the coins and drop them into the box then there is a loud pop that is either in the coin mechanism or in the relay. Then one of my selection motors will run a cycle then stop and I didn't even make a selection. It does it ever time I put 50 cents and without making a selection.

If anyone could help I would sure APPRICATE IT.

FTC1313,
It could be several things, but the first thing I would try is to change the motor assembly of the selection that is messing up. They are fairly easy to R&R and they only cost $25-$35.
If that doesn't work get back to me, we'll figure it out.
