I have a DN SII machine that was plugged into a faulty outlet and received significantly more volts than what it was supposed to. Through general troubleshooting- ive identified essentially everything electronic in the machine that has to do with vend control needed to be replaced- old sII controller was shot and so was the lcd readout on the front of the machine- replaced those two units and now i cannot enter setup on the machine. contacted company where i purchased the replacement controller board and after further troubleshooting we determined that it sounded like maybe the SII board they sent was faulty- company sent an additional- and the machine still doesnt want to go into programming-
I can hit either red button on the SII, however the machine never responds to the front vend selection buttons- which i know through reading is how you navigate the setup procedures. I've also done a continuity test at each button, and the buttons check out for the most part-
At this point, i dont know where to go from here- i have two SII controller boards that should both be good- and a known working coin mech in the machine- but still cant get through setup or even diagnostics successfully.
anyone seen anything similar?
